The Transnational Impact on Identity Formation in Theatre Across the Chinese-Speaking World
This lecture will explore how theatre production in the Chinese-speaking world responds to diverse social and cultural contexts in the era of transnational mobility and cultural exchange, and how it further shapes individual and collective identity. The speaker will analyze specific case studies to examine the translation, reinterpretation, and circulation of theatre in cross-cultural settings, and discuss its significance and impact within the global network of Chinese-language culture.
