Speaker Bio:
Esther Kim is a writer, editor, and independent journalist. She writes a column for The Korea Times, a South Korean daily, and has contributed essays and criticism to The Nation, The Guardian, and Literary Hub, among many other magazines and papers. Before that, she had a career in books. She received her BA from Wellesley College, MSc from Edinburgh University, and MA from SOAS, University of London.
